These terms cover your use of Bat Client, this website, the launcher, and related services. By downloading, installing, or running Bat Client, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the software.

1. Who can use it

You must be old enough to agree to a contract in your country, or have a parent or guardian agree on your behalf. You're responsible for making sure your setup meets the requirements to run the client.

2. What you're allowed to do

We give you a limited, personal, non-commercial license to download and run Bat Client for as long as you follow these terms. This means you may install it on your own devices and use it for normal, personal gameplay — on your own servers and on any server that permits performance mods.

This doesn't transfer ownership of anything. The client, its code, and its parts stay ours. You're allowed to use the cosmetic and configuration features to make the client yours, but the underlying software remains Bat Client's.

3. What you can't do

Reverse engineering. Don't decompile, disassemble, or try to extract the launcher's source.
Unauthorized mirroring. Don't re-upload or host Bat Client elsewhere without our written okay.
Malicious use. Don't use modded variants to attack networks (DDoS, scraping, server exploits).
Cheating. Bat Client is a performance tool, not a cheat client. Don't use it — or any modded variant of it — to gain unfair in-game advantages on servers that forbid them.
Selling it. Don't sell access, or rent or lease anything built on Bat Client.

4. Third-party servers

Bat Client is a performance tool. Individual servers decide their own mod policies, and we can't override or answer for account bans or penalties those servers hand out. When you use utility mods in competitive modes, you take on that risk yourself.

5. Ownership

Bat Client is an independent project. Its design, branding, and code belong to the Bat Client team. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB / Microsoft. Bat Client isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Mojang or Microsoft.

6. Downloads & updates

You should only download Bat Client from this website (batclient.xyz) or the official download page. We can't vouch for copies hosted anywhere else.

When you run the launcher it checks for updates automatically. Updates may change features, fix bugs, or adjust system requirements, and they're covered by these same terms. By keeping the client installed, you agree to accept these updates.

7. Privacy

The short version of our Privacy Policy: Bat Client doesn't collect your personal data. Crash logs, settings, and HUD layouts stay on your machine. The only data that touches our servers is routine hosting logs from the website and update checks. Read the full policy on the Privacy Policy page.

8. We can end access

We may suspend or stop access to downloads, the launcher, or parts of the service if you break these terms — for example, by redistributing the client, using it to cheat on a large scale, or misusing it to attack other players.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Bat Client isn't liable for damages from using the software. It's provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. In particular, we're not responsible for bans, penalties, or actions other servers take against accounts that use the client, and we're not responsible for anything you lose if the software misbehaves on your own system.

10. Changes to these terms

We can update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, and continuing to use the client after that means you accept them. Significant changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
